1990'S UN Schimitar CVRT in Bosnia

This diorama depicts the Scimitar variant of the British army's CVRT (Combat Vehichle Recconecance Tracked). It was used widely in the balkans by light infantry and other armoured troops after the break out of war in the region after the fall of the.
The Scimitar was armed with the 30mm raden cannon. The soldier standing in front is a Sapper from the Royal Engineers Explosive Ordnace Diposal team at rest with the Barrat 50 calibre anti material sniper rifle,which was used on occasion to disrupt unexploded ordnance.
The kit is the AFV club 1:35th version with added photo edged parts from Eduard.
